The next Game Republic, supported by Autodesk, event will be Storytelling in Games, on Thursday 23rd March at Game Makers Space in Leeds.
This special event will have presentations on the best ways developers can create amazing worlds, memorable characters and great stories in their games. Richard Cobbett (writer, Sunless Sea), Steve Ince (writer, Broken Sword) and Andy Campbell (Dreaming Methods) will discuss games writing and storytelling, plus there will be a panel where developers can ask questions on developing compelling narrative in their titles.
The event will also feature Mario Viviani and other guests from Amazon Appstore plus there will be a handy GDC 2017 round-up from Game Republic, including the latest news from all the major platform-holders such as Microsoft and Nintendo.
Afterwards there will be drinks and networking, and an opportunity to play some demos from developers based at Game Makers @ Futurelabs. Game Republic members go free – more information here.
