The BFI is a cultural charity, a National Lottery distributor, and the UK’s lead organisation for film and the moving image. As part of our current strategy, Screen Culture 2033, the BFI remit is extending into broader screen, forming partnerships and supporting innovation and research, as well as funding, to generate policy guidance and support of the UK independent video games sector, in addition to supporting the administration of the UK Video Game Expenditure Credit (VGEC).
