Game Republic member and Developer Enchanted Arcade has announced that it is today releasing, at 6pm BST / 7pm CEST / 10am PDT / 1PM EST, a playable demo for supernatural roguelite deck-builder, The Cascadier, as part of Steam Next Fest. Expect to see a full release Q2 2026.
Following the extraordinary breakout success of Balatro, a new cohort of ‘Cheat ‘Em Ups’ (roguelites that reward you for learning then breaking the rules), such as Raccoin, Clover Pit, Passant and Ballionaire have reignited a wave of arcade nostalgia that The Cascadier now builds upon with its own unique rule-breaking narrative twist.

The Cascadier provides players with unique ability cards to power enchanted coins dropped into one of seven magical coin-pusher arcade machines. Each machine plays like a living Panchinko-style pinball board, packed with secrets, hidden paths, and mechanical surprises. The skill and fun lies in building clever deck combos to charge your coins with explosive abilities, watch them trigger incredible visual effects and wild chain reactions, pushing for those colossal scores through repeated play.
Offering a unique narrative twist on the genre, players will cross paths with supernatural beings, gods and magical entities who are trying to earn their adoration, ultimately ending in a faceoff between Fortuna, the Goddess of Fortune and her brother Theodan, the Void God.
The Cascadier rewards replays to earn progressive unlocks, allowing the player to move further through the core game narrative in true roguelite fashion. Completing the game in your first run will not be possible but will earn abilities to allow future runs to be slightly easier.
