Game Republic is partnering with Devcom, the official game developer event of Gamescom, taking place in Cologne, Germany 17-19 August, and the B2B event has announced more industry speakers and special guests. Companies such as Team17, Insomniac Games, Xsolla, GSC Game World, IO Interactive, Ubisoft, Guerilla, Focus Entertainment, Playstack, Gearbox, Bloober Team, Valve, Tencent and Raw Fury will be attending and taking part in Devcom’s array of talks, panels, fireside chats, roundtables and special events, such as mixers and developer-focused parties.
The Devcom conference programme, when complete, will feature around 210 sessions by 350 speakers over the two days at what is described as the biggest game developer community-driven industry conference – taking place just before Gamescom, the biggest games event in the world, from 20– 24 August, which has a mix of business and public areas, and platform-holders such as Nintendo and Microsoft attending.
