UK-based games developer and publisher, Double Eleven, is proud to announce a new phase in its journey as Kimberley Turner (former CFO and Commercial Director) and Mark South (former COO) are appointed Co-CEOs, leading the studio into an exciting future of continued growth.
The new appointments come as part of a revised senior management structure for Double Eleven, following founder and former CEO Lee Hutchinson’s move into his broader strategic role as Chairman of Pneuma Group, the parent company of Double Eleven. Based in Malaysia, Lee will now step fully into this role, continuing to guide the Group’s vision and global growth while remaining closely connected to the company he founded and led for over 15 years.
Lee’s leadership has been instrumental in shaping Double Eleven into the globally respected studio it is today. His passion, vision, and commitment to people have built a legacy that will continue to inspire the studio as it moves forward.
Throughout this journey, Kimberley and Mark have both held director roles at Double Eleven, working side-by-side with Lee, overseeing day-to-day operations and supporting strategic initiatives across the Company. The recent introduction of a new senior leadership team and project directors has laid the foundations to drive forward the studio’s ambitious long-term growth plans.
“Lee’s vision and leadership have been instrumental in Double Eleven’s journey from a small independent studio to an internationally respected developer and publisher,” said Kimberley Turner and Mark South in a joint statement. “We are honoured to build on the legacy he created and excited to lead the Company into its next phase.
“This marks an important step in our continued growth, driven by our commitment to being a trusted partner and safe pair of hands for some of the most regarded games and developers in the industry, whether through full development, co-development, or publishing. And by continuing to support the talented people across the business who make it all possible.”
Lee Hutchinson, Chairman of Pneuma Group, added: “I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built and confident that under Kimberley and Mark’s leadership, Double Eleven will continue to thrive.”
The Company has experienced consistent growth through high-profile partnerships and development contributions on some of the industry’s biggest franchises. It remains one of the UK’s most prominent and fastest-growing independent games studios with ambitious plans to continue its upward trajectory.
