Kudos Games has confirmed it will be sponsoring GaMaYo on 21st May with the intention to fuel the 40+ demo teams showcasing their games. Over 300 developers, publishers and platform-holders are expected to attend the event which is the largest and friendliest gathering of game developers in The North.
Commercial Director of Kudos Games David Lilley explains “Events are hard. Just standing from early morning until early evening is hard enough but you have to TALK to people in the meantime. We would like to make sure all the developers showing off their games are fed and watered to talk about your beloved game, over and over. So they can have some refreshment on us. It is our way of showing that at Kudos we’re here to support when you need us.”
As well as providing the indie game devs with food vouchers, Kudos Games has also supported the development of a limited edition GaMaYo badge for the event so there is one for every attendee coming to the event and will be hosting a roundtable to share insights about game development.
Community and Events Officer Michela Vilinskis adds “This is such a great way to support our indie game community. The range of new games for this event in May looks fantastic and we can’t wait to welcome everyone to GaMaYo number 26.”
In November 2025, Game Republic hosted the biggest GaMaYo to date along with the Game Republic Awards. GaMaYo runs twice a year and is supported by Official Partners Red Kite Games, Xsolla and Double Eleven.
