Game Republic Affiliate Member Plus Accounting has confirmed it will be sponsoring GaMaYo on 21st May at Project House Leeds. GaMaYo #26 will take place at Project House Leeds and will include 42 new game demos, roundtables and networking. Plus Accounting will be sponsoring the first drink for attendees and will also be providing a roundtable to support indie studios with questions they may have on all things finance, investment and taxation. The event forms part of the 2026 Game Republic event programme supported by Red Kite Games, Xsolla and Double Eleven.
Mark Horsfield from Plus Accounting said “We were blown away by GaMaYo in November with the amount of indie developers and talent on show. The creative output is always fantastic at this event, but it is good to help the developers with issues on how best to manage finances and claim entitlements to help them along the way. We are also always available at the event to help mid and larger studios to get some financial advice in these volatile times. We are thrilled to sponsor both GaMaYo events in 2026 and offer the chance to provide free accountancy and tax advice for those new to the industry and allow more people to be confident with their finances whilst also having a drink on us!”
Last year’s GaMaYo in Wakefield attracted over 500 developers with 69 new games on show. GaMaYo in May is a smaller event but set to be busy again with over 200 already registered and 42 new games on show. Alongside the games – special guests will include publishers, investors and platform-holders.
