AMD and Lenovo and Copilot + PC with Escape Technology have confirmed that they are sponsoring the Game Republic Christmas Party on 10th December. The event is sold out with over 100 game developers attending for the annual Game Republic “legendary” quiz and a movie at the Everyman Cinema in Leeds. The movie voted on by attendees, free gifts, Christmas jumpers, hats and prizes to be won beyond the quiz will also include a raffle to raise funds for SpecialEffect.
A spokesperson for AMD and Lenovo said “We are really pleased to be sponsoring this very popular annual event in The North. The Game Republic Christmas Party will support developers to get together, socialise and have fun after a busy year’s work and will have many treats in store for attendees as well as prizes to be won. As organisations that support games development in the UK and globally, it is great to be part of this event.”
The Game Republic Christmas Party will be the last event of the year which has seen the network run more than 25 events, online, in-person, regionally, nationally and internationally. The event programme has been supported by Red Kite Games, Barclays Games and Creative and Xsolla
