Commenting on the announcement, Jamie Sefton, MD of Game Republic said “It is fantastic that our 2023 Official Partners are continuing to support our events programme in 2024. It has also made the website banner redesign very easy! It was a pleasure to work with our partners in 2023 and to get support from the great individuals that work within these companies.”

Red Kite Games hit a 12 years old milestone which was celebrated with cake on Monday 15th January. Red Kite Games is a strong supporter of the games industry and of Game Republic. Simon Iwaniszak who heads up the studio did an interview with Game Republic in 2023 where he said “When we were finding our feet in the early days Game Republic helped us get out to our first GDC. Since then, Red Kite has grown but the support of the Game Republic network is still just as valuable to us. I can’t imagine the Yorkshire game dev scene without Jamie and Game Republic.” You can read the whole interview here. Commenting about the 2024 Official Partnership Simon Iwaniszak, Red Kite Games Studio Director added:  “Red Kite has been a proud partner of Game Republic since the studio was founded over 12 years ago. Barclays Games and Creative’s Elaine Dowman did an interview with Jamie in 2023 and has been delighted to continue the Official Partner support for the network which last year also resulted in a collaborative event with Barclays and XR Stories at the Guild Hall in York looking at XR, Virtual Production and beyond. Neil Parmar from Escape Technology has been a strong advocate for Game Republic since it began and has worked alongside many of the members over the years supporting their technology and innovations. He describes the network as “Phenomenal. It is more than an organisation, it is a platform for developers to be on. It’s for the Northern region and has always been in the North. I was there when it started. I have always been a supporter of it in some shape or form since the beginning. It’s absolutely essential for developers and it is just so much more than a membership network.” To find out more about the work of Escape Technology, you can read a full interview with Neil here
