Game Republic is again part of the team leading a Department of Business and Trade mission to the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco, USA from 18 – 22 March 2024.
GDC is the largest games business event in the world and features essential talks, events and networking opportunities with thousands of international games businesses from every corner of the globe including China, Brazil, India, Japan, Canada, Europe, the USA and of course the UK.
Meeting Companies at GDC
The mission features 70 UK games companies based at the UK Business Lounge at Werqwise near the Moscone Center, which will feature bespoke meetings with essential publishers and platform-holders organised by the DBT and Game Republic including Meta, Valve, PlayStation, Hiro Capital, ID@Xbox, Epic Games, Tencent, Netflix Games and Lucasfilm Games. Game developers on the mission will also get access to an exclusive games showcase at Pocket Gamer Connects, a reception at the British Consulate in San Francisco and an investor dinner and drinks reception organised by UKIE.
Game Republic members on the mission include BetaJester, CG Hero, Cooperative Innovations, Curve Games, Draw & Code, Five Aces/New Star Games and Skyhook Games and we will be on-hand during GDC week to maximise the opportunities for our companies.
