After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, Game Republic returns to the Yorkshire Games Festival to host a special drinks reception and dinner in partnership with the National Science & Media Museum in Bradford on Thursday 17th February 2022, kindly sponsored by Barclays and Escape Technology.
The evening event begins at 6pm with a drinks reception in the Games Lounge at the National Science and Media Museum, followed by a curry meal at Jinnah’s restaurant nearby.
The reception and dinner will be attended by Game Republic members, festival organisers and games industry speakers at the YGF, including guests from games news site Nintendo Life, and companies Team17, XR Games, Supermassive, Playground and Rocksteady.
Anyone attending the event has to wear a mask in the museum’s public areas (not in the reception) and for the dinner, attendees must be vaccinated and also have had a negative LFT on the day.
Tickets are available here – and with a special member code are just £18 (plus VAT) – for more info on membership of Game Republic, please get in touch.
As for the main Yorkshire Games Festival 2022, tickets are now available for the Game Talks taking place on 17th and 18th February, and there is also a Schools Day, Careers Lounge and Let’s Play Family Weekend on 12th and 13th February – and GR members again receive a discount.
