Almost 200 students have already signed up to the Game Republic Student Club – a new community launched in March 2025. The new members and students from Game Republic educational partner Universities, colleges and education providers will be able to attend the club’s first event on April 30th.
An Online Event With Red Kite Games
‘A Day In The Life Of A Game Industry Junior’ event will include insights on the daily tasks and responsibilities that juniors in the UK Games Industry will face, along with challenges, opportunities and key insight into what a first role could look like.
Hermione Khan, the Game Republic Student Club Manager and Ruth Dickens from Red Kite Games will be sharing information and this will be followed by a Q&A.
Game Republic Student Club Manager Hermione Khan said “We are really excited about the first official event of the GRSC which will be both interesting and informative! As a recent graduate, I am very pleased to be providing this content to students on courses with our Game Republic educational partners.”
As the Student Club continues to grow, more exclusive events and opportunities will be presented to members which will support industry connections and insights and the next generation of game developers.

Game Republic Student Club events are available for students studying with Game Republic’s educational partners. The events form part of Game Republic’s event programme supported by Official Partners Red Kite Games and Barclays Games and Creative.
