The Game Republic Student Showcase Online returns again this year on Wednesday 26th May, with a special award show at 4pm.
The Game Republic Student Showcase has been running for more than a decade and is a competition for final-year and post-graduate students at our Educational Partner universities and colleges, who can submit their projects and games for five awards judged by our fantastic games company sponsors. The event is also kindly sponsored by Barclays.
This year’s awards include the Sumo Digital Award for Game Design, the Revolution Software Award for Game Audio, the Rebellion North Award for Game Art and Animation, and the Red Kite Games Award for Game Technology.
Game Republic will then host a special Student Showcase Award Show at 4pm on Wednesday 26th May where the games companies will announce live the winners of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes in each category. More than 100 previous Showcase participants have enjoyed placements and full-time jobs after the event at companies including Sumo Digital and Rockstar Leeds.
