The quiz was hotly contested with the top two teams only 2 points apart (29 and 31 out of 40). Boss Kevin came second but in a surprise split from the usual Revolution squad, Charles Cecil joined the Pitstop Productions team deserting Noirin Carmody, Roger Womack, Harry Flanagan, David Cecil, Matt Shepcar (featured image). The group decided to form their own team called “As Long As We Beat Charles”. They not only beat Charles but all other teams in a glorious victory. Congratulations! Last place was admirably taken by Mad Cowie Productions who won two extra drink vouchers to drown their sorrows. It was a challenging quiz this year and Jackie Mulligan said “Any teams should be happy if they got to mid-table status this year!”
Prizes galore!
After the quiz there was a raffle to win a SpecialEffect EA football shirt, a signed (at the event) Broken Sword box set, various merch or ‘games tut’ as Jamie described it and a pair of FREE tickets for our Yorkshire Games Festival Reception & Dinner on 12th February. The raffle raised £500 for the charity.
