Game Republic member Steel City Interactive has just announced that its fantastic boxing game Undisputed has just surpassed 1M units sold globally! The Sheffield-based game developer has achieved this significant milestone with its debut title, the first major boxing game for over a decade, just a week after moving from Early Access to full release.
“We are absolutely blown away by the reception to Undisputed,” said Ash Habib (see picture below), Founder and CEO of Steel City Interactive. “Our ambition remains to create the new benchmark for combat sports games. Surpassing this milestone shows us that we are well on the way to achieving that. This is a great foundation to build on, and there is much more to come with the Undisputed franchise.”
Undisputed was developed by a passionate Northern development team with a singular aim to re-define the genre through authentic gameplay, an expansive licensed roster with boxers including Muhammad Ali, Amir Kahn and Heather Hardy, as well as innovative fight mechanics. Undisputed is out now on Xbox Series S/X, PlayStation 5 and PC Steam and published by Deep Silver.
