One to One Development Trust Wins SONA Award in Pittsburgh

One to One Development Trust has won  “The Social Impact Award”  for their VR experiences Streets of Change about street homelessness and The Abandoned Library about climate change & displacement. The Award Celebrates immersive works that address social, environmental or humanitarian issues.

The award was presented at the Sona Immersive Storytelling Festival in Pittsburgh. Judi Alston and Andy Campbell attended and presented at the event supported to funding from the Creative Export Accelerator from the West Yorkshire Combined Authority Tracy Brabin, Mayor of West Yorkshire

Jamie Sefton, MD of Game Republic said “We were lucky enough to have Judi present at an event last year about their work and projects and saw the Triptych: Revealed launch WX Wakefield which celebrated the mining heritage of the area in innovative ways. Huge kudos for winning this award to them and the team!”
