Xbox, Curve Games and Mastered have confirmed that they will be running roundtables for developers at GaMaYo on 21st November at WX. The new roundtables which act as mini workshops / Q & A sessions will mean there will be 12 roundtables at the event providing developers with insights and contacts to support their projects, careers and studios.
Game developer support available
Mastered will be presenting “Future proofing your art pipeline – a roundtable to talk teams and tools“. The roundtable will be led by Perri Lewis from Mastered and one of their technical art mentors, they’ll be having an informal conversation with people about the skills and technologies we need to be thinking about in 2025.
Curve Games Bradley Crooks will be providing a meet the publisher session and helping game developers find out about what they are looking for to sign, what they bring to the table to help developers and what kinds of deals they can offer when signing new games
and Ben Robinson from ID@Xbox will be helping developers to find out more about publishing on Xbox, pitching advice and how to highlight your game on Xbox
Speaking about the event, Jackie Mulligan from Game Republic said “We are really pleased to have been able to expand the roundtables to include such a wide range of useful topics before the demos start at this event. We know that alongside the 35+ developers doing game demos, the event will be packed full of game studios, game developers as well as artists, designers and so many more – all will now be able to access some support at the event as well as meet new people and get new ideas. Huge thanks to the experts who are lending their expertise to make this happen.”
