Mental health Charity, Safe in our World will be returning to Game Republic’s flagship conference New Horizons. For the second consecutive year, they will host the conferences LoFi Zone on the 15th October at the Riverside Stadium in Middlesbrough. The LoFi Zone aims to provide a calming, relaxed place where conference attendees can take a breather between talks, or to talk with the Safe In Our World team about becoming a Level Up partner to access free mental health support for your workplace.
Michela Vilinskis, Game Republic shared their thoughts saying “It’s great to be able to welcome Safe In Our World back to New Horizons this year, and help support them continue their work. People who used the LoFi Zone last year really appreciated having a space where they could go to unwind or take a breather between sessions so we’re sure it will be the same this year too.”
As well as hosting the LoFi Zone attendees will have the opportunity to support Safe In Our World by entering a raffle and be in with the chance to win some great prizes! Cast Iron Games have sponsored the raffle with the iconic 1367-piece LEGO Donkey Kong Arcade set, worth £149.99. There’s also a chance to win a limited-edition Assassin’s Creed Mirage Collector’s Case, featuring the Deluxe Edition of the game, a 32cm Basim figurine, 78-page artbook, and much more. The LoFi Zone will be available to all event-goers who want to learn more about mental health in the games industry or pick up a raffle ticket.
If you would like to attend Game Republic New Horizons tickets can be purchased here but there are only a limited number left so don’t delay.
*Raffle Tickets will be £2 per entry, or £5 per strip, and the raffle will be called before the end of the conference. Please be present for the draw, or have a friend who can collect the prize for you – see raffle Terms & Conditions.*
