Other talks include AurĂ©lie GĂ©rault, Senior Producer and Jon Bond, Principle Programmer both from Behaviour Interactive, delivering a talk on their hit game Dead By Daylight, entitled “Keeping a live service game alive and thriving for a decade” and Adrian Hirst, CEO of Weaseltron – which has worked on fantastic AAA titles such as Death Stranding 2: On the Beach and Last of Us 2 Remastered – will present “Five things you need to know about development on PC” and the valuable lessons they have learned along the way.
Game Republic New Horizons will also feature an Investor Zone with talks from companies such as Tencent Games on investment, Masterclasses on game narrative and improving your Steam page, an expo, an Indie Stars curated games showcase and MeetToMatch meetings – as well as a Dead By Daylight party, after-party with go-karting and games, and a third day of experiences such as a trip to see the Turner Prize and a seaside “fizz and chips” beach hut visit!
