Game Republic is to host a special 20th anniversary panel at the Develop: Brighton conference on Tuesday 10th July at 5pm.
Northern Lights is a 45-minute business-focused panel featuring some of the people and companies that have shaped the Yorkshire and Northern England games industry to find out their biggest lessons learned in that time, what advice they would give to companies starting now and what the future holds for the Yorkshire and UK games industry.
The panel includes Bobby Thandi, Founder and CEO of XR Games, Elaine Dowman, games and creative industries team at Barclays, Simon Iwaniszak, Studio Head at Red Kite Games, Jessica Kelham, Founder, Rum Punch Games and Andrew Crawshaw, Owner and Creative Director at Thunkd – with the panel hosted by Game Republic MD, Jamie Sefton.
Northern Lights will have something for game developers, whether they are start-ups or experienced creators, with lessons learned over the past 20 years of Game Republic, what has changed in the industry, why Yorkshire and the North is a great place to have a games business and invaluable advice to start-ups and those looking for investment.
