Game Republic, the largest games industry network in the North of England, has launched a new Student Club for its educational partners on the community platform Discord, aiming to improve connections between higher education and the UK games industry and support soon-to-be graduates to access opportunities.
The Game Republic Student Club will enable students to get involved with the industry through access to a new Game Republic Careers Conference which will build on the existing and well-established Game Republic Student Showcase and will host its own exclusive industry events online, offering resources and skills to prepare students for the transition into their early careers as game professionals. The initiative is part of the events and activities of 2025 supported by Game Republic’s Official Partners Red Kite Games and Barclays Games and Creative.
