Game Republic Careers Conference Returns

Game Republic’s Careers Conference will be back on 18th June following the success of the inaugural event in 2025. The conference and expo will be hosted at the University of Salford and is open to students attending Universities and Colleges that are Game Republic Educational Partners. The event will provide an afternoon of opportunities with talks, an expo, portfolio reviews and career mentoring from game developers and studios. Alongside getting support in securing jobs in the games industry, the event will also provide opportunities for students to pitch their games or tech ideas to industry leaders.

The Game Republic Careers Conference will be happening from 12.30 – 5pm on 18th June and will be attended by developers, artists, directors, publishers from studios including Atomhawk, Sumo Digital, Team17, Wushu Studios, 10:10 Games, Silver Lining Interactive, Betajester, Cast Iron Games and many more.

The event forms part of the Game Republic events programme supported by Official Partners Red Kite Games, Xsolla and Double Eleven

Students wishing to attend the event should contact tutors for the FREE ticket code or join the Game Republic Student Club should apply here – please note to apply you must use your University or college email address.

Dr Jackie Mulligan, Development Director of Game Republic said “This event enables students to meet with those working in the games industry, to learn more about what game studios are looking for, to pitch the game ideas and to have their portfolios reviewed. It is a real opportunity for students to get the connections to help them.”
