Game Republic is again part of the team leading a Department of Business and Trade mission to the Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco, USA from 17 – 21 March 2025.
GDC is the largest games business event in the world and features essential talks, events and networking opportunities with thousands of international games businesses from every corner of the globe including China, Brazil, India, Japan, Canada, Europe, the USA and of course the UK.
The mission will feature around 70 UK games companies who will be based based at the UK Business Lounge at Werqwise near the Moscone Center, which will host bespoke meetings with essential publishers and platform-holders organised by Game Republic, which in 2024 featured companies such as Meta, Valve, PlayStation, ID@Xbox, Epic Games, Tencent, Netflix Games and Lucasfilm Games. Game developers on the mission will also get access to Werqwise for the week, the online meeting system MeetToMatch, as well as other events and networking opportunities TBC organised by DBT and Ukie – which is included in the £350 + VAT cost for taking part in the mission.
