UKTI Yorkshire is hosting a FREE games industry event with Game Republic this Tuesday 19th May at the Everyman Cinema, Leeds from 9.30am – 12-midday, with lunch provided.
As part of Export Week, the event Creative Sector Opportunities in Gaming will feature talks from Simon Iwaniszak from Red Kite Games, Fee Stewart from FormerDroid and Jamie Sefton from Game Republic on attending international trade events, preparing pitches, getting the most from networking and more.
There will also be special Q&A session with James Batchelor, Editor of games industry magazine Develop about publicising your game in the press, the best way to approach journalists and the current trends in the games industry.
As well as industry talks, UK Trade & Investment will discuss the services it provides, including news on the current government funding opportunities that in previous years has helped finance dozens of Yorkshire companies to attend events such as the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco and Gamescom in Cologne.
