Game Republic will be hosting an Unreal Engine Special on Thursday 27th March, 4pm – 7.30pm at the National Videogame Museum in Sheffield. The event will include some showcases, talks and Q&A sessions, with networking and drinks. The event forms part of the Game Republic programme of events for 2025 being supported by our Official Partners Red Kite Games and Barclays Games and Creative.
Speakers include:
Ash Habib, CEO of Steel City Interactive talking about the founding of the Sheffield-based studio, and their brilliant boxing game Undisputed, which has sold over 1 million copies;
Cat Powell, co-CEO of the National Videogame Museum on plans and events in the museum
Simon Barratt, CEO of Cooperative Innovations presenting about Unreal Engine Kernels, used to create visual effects like bloom and glare;
Ben Board from Epic Games on the latest news from GDC
Dave Blewett, Art Director at Red Kite Games on their Tigers vs Dragons game for UEFN
Terence Burns from Tanglewood Games presenting The Unreal Engine Tools That Keep AAA Games on Track
