Applications are now open for fully funded Unreal and Unity Game Engine Bootcamps, starting 6th May 2025.
These remote, 12-week programmes are designed to help you gain the technical and creative skills needed to start a career in the gaming and immersive tech industries and are being delivered by Game Republic Affiliate member In4 Group.

Beginner – A solid introduction to Unreal, covering visual scripting and game design. Ideal for those starting out as producers or project managers.

3D Artist – Learn 3D modelling, texturing, lighting, blueprints, and environmental design. (Basic Blender experience recommended.)

Game Developer – Focused on gameplay mechanics, interactivity, and scripting using Blueprints and C++.

Beginner (Daytime or Evening) – Covers the basics of Unity’s interface, tools, and workflows for 2D/3D experiences. No coding experience required.

Developer (Daytime or Evening) – For those looking to build advanced skills in C# scripting, physics, animation, UI, mobile/VR, and game optimisation.

What to Expect After You Apply:
If you meet the initial eligibility criteria, you’ll receive an email with 3 key steps:

One-Way Interview – A short self-recorded video and text-based interview to help us understand your motivation and interest in the programme.

Online Assessment – A 20-minute timed assessment tailored to your chosen track. We recommend doing some research into Unity/Unreal beforehand.

PICS Form – A short form to collect further information and confirm your eligibility for the funded programme.
