Ukie Hub Crawl will be coming to Leeds Avenue HQ on 22nd February 6pm to 8.30pm. The event is free to game developers and provides a chance to network and meet game studios and speakers.
The event is part of a national tour by Ukie in partnership with Barclays and all Game Republic members are being invited to attend.
The Hub Crawl this year promises to feature an array of expert speakers discussing various aspects of game making, being engaged with a global market place, personal and business growth and more. The theme – Local Action : Global Ambition aims to provide knowledge, discussion and insight for developers and their studios through bringing together some of the best names of UK games to tell their story and reflect on projects past and current. From marketing techniques and community engagement to postmortems, platform management, staff wellbeing and more each date on the Hub Crawl will be unique and feature local speakers from the region and beyond. The Hub Crawls are also ideal for those working in games services to network with studios local to that area and for students to come along and learn from the industry.
Each event features a variety of short, informative sessions from industry experts, panels, interviews, and returning for 2024 is the popular Hub Crawl Hero feature.
